I'm so sorry for your loss. A lady I work with found out at work today that her mother had just passed away. It's left me in a reflective mood. I can't imagine it and don't want to. Take the time you need to grieve and heal.

The Woman Who Changed Her Brain sounds very interesting. And Laughter Fell From the Sky caught my eye recently as well. Enjoy your week!

I've heard great things about Sherrilyn Kenyon but I haven't read any of her books yet. Enjoy your vacation, and I hope you're all healed up from your fall!

Wow, I am impressed! Sunny must be quite a character to win such devotion from her dog!

I like the sound of Freddy! It is much more useful in this day and age to save a girl from uncomfortable situations than to save her from enchanted towers.

I admit that I haven't read any of Heyer's work, but she is on my list. In fact, I just downloaded Footsteps in the Dark by her for my nook.

I haven't read The Scarlet Pimpernel, but it is on my huge tbr list!

I have to ask if you've read The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig and the rest of the books in the series. I think she takes The Scarlet Pimpernel as a starting point and runs with it. They are very fun books!
