Send them Tea Bags to push the point you want your local Tea Party covered by the media and to impress on national media to pick it up as well. . .

I recommended to my local Tea Party orginizers the following:

In light of the fact that the MSM has avoided reporting on the Tea Parties thus far why not extend the tea bag campaign to them. We have discussed sending virtual (email) or pictures of tea bags in order to not just get trashed by security to our elected officials. I recommend sending the actual tea bags to local and national media. Maybe if they are flooded with tea bags they will stand up and pay attention as to what is more important to the people! After all, look what sending peanuts to CBS did for the show Jericho when it was cancelled - granted it never really was brought back but it certianly made a statement.
