To Glenn B.

You have been very much "a voice crying in the wilderness." In many cases, the only one on television or radio informing the public about what is really going on. Everytime we hear your clarion calls, we can't help but become both enraged and sickened. I think about what would the founding fathers have done? Would they sit around and vent on the internet? Throw tepid social gatherings? Or would they insight the populace to take arms, declare their independence, and restore their nation.

I admit, I'm not sure what to do. I don't think we have time to wait for more rallies and planning parties. I think folks are wondering where are the leaders at? The ones folks will actually rally behind. Where's Nugent, Norris, Grammer, Selleck, Voigt, and even Hopper? Where's what's left of the conservatives in Washington and in the states? Why isn't anyone putting themselves on the line for their principles and values? I don't know. But, I am wondering. Just thinking out loud.

Ummm....I like what you've written except for your comments. How about that?

1. Yes, tell your elected representatives to vote "No" to practically everything right now. However, as for mine, they don't care. They don't seem a bit worried about whether or not you vote for them. Why is that?
2. Cap 'n (Crunch) Trade will do is us in all by itself. If this passes, any type of healthcare legislation is pointless, as we'll be done in already.

Sir,

I would hate to see you go, as I find your commentary both stimulating and thought-provoking. Maybe for some you seem a bit too intellectual, or possibly less spiritual than religious. I don't know. What I recommend to you, and posters, is to also sign up for http://www.the912project.us/ as they haven't crashed or limited posts (as I can see), and allow more creative expression. This isn't recommending leaving this site, but also including the other, as a backup. At least take a look. God bless.

My knee jerk answer was going to be "Goldman Sachs," but I guess I was wrong.

I agree with the right of an individual to be free to believe or have faith as he/she chooses. My firm point is that our country was founded by people who believe in a Judeo-Christian God; therefore, when God, Creator, etc. is exposed in any original writing (i.e. Declaration of Indepedence, Constitution, etc.) it would be reasonable to conclude that the God they referenced was of a particular orthodoxy. Many writings of the founding fathers, describe the tolerance of other religions (from a Christian point-of-view) as being an opportunity to be examples of Christ, and thus, witnesses to them of the faith (a passive attempt at conversion). It was supposed, by original intent, for the USA to be a country based upon Christian values and principals. It was further believed that our prosperity or failure would be tied to our collective reverence and submission to God. A true follower of Christ does not think himself better than anyone else, but only made righteous through the sacrifice of Jesus.
