I think the Sioux continue to play better and better hockey. The Mac dq was crap, but looking at the game, the Sioux shut them down and played a phenomenal game. The last 5 to 10 minutes are what they are, but it was a great game for the Sioux against a tough team.

DU coming back at the end shows exactly what we'll be up against tonight. I think one obvious reason Sioux fans are vocal against the call is that we are so dang short handed right now with injuries. How are you suppose to not hit high when another Denver player is skating with his head down. Shoulder, neck, head, blah, blah, blah....Mac was not head hunting and the initial hit was clearly shoulder contact to Tabrum's upper torso. Mac can't help that he outweighs the kid by 50 pounds. Is he suppose to let him have a clean break with the puck? Whatever the call, a game dq is over the top and wrong.

Mark Levin should be required listening. The left can attack him with bs straw man character assassination attempts like the one above, but could never hold a candle to Mr. Levin in a debate. I don't know what the hell Red River thinks a passing reference to UPI has to do with the merits of the issues he was speaking about. Pretty cool that the actions of Spirit Lake were brought up on a national show like The Great One's.
I agree with Austin. Who knows what will happen, or whether a court will give them a chance to be heard..., but I'm glad to see Spirit Lake take a stand and make the NCAA explain why they are acting against the wishes of the people they supposedly where trying to protect. This whole controversy was contrived and never had merit as it related to how UND proudly used the name. PC BS from the beginning.
I love it. Don't smoke, and I don't want my kids to, but the smoking bans were the first test to see how far the govt could tread on personal freedoms. Very clear message that the PC police are going to be terminated by President Cain.
