I think it's disproportionately portrayed in the show, because we meet the apex of unicorn study. I certainly think unicorns are far more likely than other types of ponies to be corrupted by power, but given that the powers of the other races are so much more abstract it's hard to gauge properly.

it's been all over the place, which is part of why. my shift usually starts at 11 pm this time zone, when chat starts at 9pm, and I don't usually wake up until 10 because I do overnights. my bank screwed me out of a lot of money. but on the other hand, I got a shit-ton of writing done.

it won't, and honestly, here's the thing...
I'm fine with Undertale getting there. It deserves at least some recognition, but the bigger deal is that it's throwing all the people who vote in those polls. There's this idea that the old school games deserve to be put on this pedestal, which would be fine, if they mentioned something other than OoT or FF7. Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Skies of Arcadia and so many other games get tossed aside for the ones with the foaming-at-the-mouth fanbases of the previously mentioned offenders. seeing them trying to complain about undertale being carried on hype alone is hypocritical, and hopefully they'll come to understand that.

plus, it's got hot dogs.
