I agree re: actors and the writing being pretty decent to them. And they do have longevity over Sharon and Steve. Like there is tons of actual build up and they rush nothing with them which is nice.
I want to like Barry and Iris because I think the actors have a nice chemistry and they're playing it out in the least annoying way possible, but...yeah. There's still some heavy squick there.
I am in LOVE with Kim. I wish in their whole summary of each one, they would acknowledge that she slayed in the music video even though they'd picked on her for not being able to dance a bunch of times this season. Her costumes and makeup blow my mind every time.
She came to my college eons ago and she was amazingly gracious and kind for what it's worth.
But Tanye, their female hose is Best. I adore her.
Whenever I have a say in our local conference, I demand that we have no doom and gloom panels. They aren't helpful and since we're still sitting there getting educated about our profession, it is maybe not so dead yet and we should concentrate on the now.
AGREED. I own seven at last count and that seems like not enough.
Oh lordy, I think there are only three basic styles of librarian: Cat Lady, Brisk and Sensible, and Young and Tattooed/Crazy Hair color. I am in the last category, but see myself slowly trending towards the center as I get older.
ETA: All three kinds wear cardigans. Because public libraries always always always have bizarre issues with their heating and cooling systems.
It's a tough negotiation, but when my husband confessed to me I almost immediately knew I wasn't going to leave him, despite having sworn to the contrary for years. I came up with a short list of what he would need to do and what I needed to keep the relationship afloat. It took six months to get over the worst of it, but now three years later it's a pretty distant memory and we're happy. For what it's worth.
In the blooper reel for Repo Man, Anthony Steward Head says very mildly 'Bullocks, bullocks, bottom" and that's my go to at work now.
