Hi, Paula! Knowing FB, they could have made changes. Or maybe it's because I haven't done any status updates there in months...LOL!

Hope everything's going well for you and the boys, too. :)

Yes, regular blogging can definitely be commitment. And, Val, I'm not sure that I've had "better" things to do, but they surely have been different things than I was doing in the past. :)

I suspect that could be too many for that size jar. They could expand too much.

I agree that you should never "quick vent" when pressure canning. Perhaps, Tina, the beans absorbed some liquid, or you used slight more beans than called for. Sometimes there is just less liquid in some jars than others. If you don't feel confident the beans are safe, throw them out.

The lemon and blueberry is a really good combo, and it's so easy, too. I think spice cake with ginger ale and apple pie filling would be good. Or for Christmas time, cherry pie filling with devil's food cake and Cherry Coke.

A couple miles away, and not up and running yet. To be honest, I think it's just administrative and engineering offices (no live warheads), but I'm not sure. It's all a bit above my head, unfortunately.

If your news source used abbreviations, that could cause confusion. Kansas City is abbreviated as KC. Oklahoma City is abbreviated as OKC. I've been thrown off by it myself, especially when it's in an audio news story.
