Not in any vehicle I've ever checked it on. Yes, I've checked multiple tankfuls, making the same trips on ever tankful. In all cases the vehicle loses 10% of it's fuel mileage. Besides that, more than one vehicle ran like terrible with ethanol in the tank.

Which is almost impossible unless your vehicle was tuned specifically for the ethanol.
Ethanol contains less energy per gallon than gasoline, every vehicle, including motorcycles, that I have ever checked(multiple tankfuls, not just one) got LESS mileage with ethanol.

Unless they used at least an 18-24" tent stake it should have been impossible to hit a gas line.
If the stake was any shorter than that it's more the city's faut than the vendor.

Our neighbor is not big and fat, she drives a Yukon 50miles every day. Soccer mom?? Well could be, except she's got 1 kid and no plans for more. All their friends drive Yukons, Denalis and Expeditions and most of them have no kids. What they do have is their heads screwed on crooked.
You don't need a mega-mobile to haul kids. My wife's family had 4 kids, they all rode in an Impala.
Oh yes, I'm big and fat, weigh 270lbs and I could drive and ride in one of those Japanese cars, no problem. They're bigger than they look.

Anyone notice the cars that the Japanese drive?? I bet they get much better mleage than anything we are driving here, and will work just fine for the vast majority of the people here, even the soccer moms.

The Camry is the same price as the Ford and a much better built, nicer and better looking car. That was what formed my opinion and resulted in my purchase...

You could have all stayed home and saved alot of fuel and money.

You sir, do not have a clue.
Do you realize that most of the small town services can barely staff their trucks with EMT Bs let alone paramedics, and they sure can't spare one to go wandering off somewhere else.
If you really want to help, get off your behind and volunteer.

I'm amazed it we're getting it done for $300,000, if we are we are getting a bargain. There's 3 deputies who's sole job is the rescue truck. Wages and benefits for 3 deputies alone is at least $150,000 probably more if you have all the numbers, and we haven't bought the trucks or a single gallon of fuel yet.
BTW, you can't even run a volunteer ambulance service for $300,000/ yr, let alone fire and rescue besides.
