You know, I have to say, those sexist comments by Santorum really tick me off. He has hit a nerve.

In December we lost a very close family friend in the Helicopter training accident at Ft. Lewis. (You could call her an adopted daughter). We don't know what happened and probably never will, but Rocky was a Hero and gave her life in service to our country. I'm pretty sure it wasn't caused by PMS. I think it's demeaning to her memory to speak about women as if they aren't as capable as a man.

This is the first time I've written about this and maybe it's not even pertinent to this thread but I guess it just hits me wrong. Could Santorum have been a Captain in the Army, Graduate from West Point and flying scout helicopters in Iraq when he was 25?

I'm not really as witchy as I sound here.....just still sad.

This week, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the nation’s leading breast cancer charity, came under fire for its decision to defund America’s leading abortion provider, Planned Parenthood. Komen states it made the decision solely based on a new policy not to provide funding for organizations undergoing investigation. Planned Parenthood, no stranger to controversy, is being investigated for its practices and handling of taxpayer money.

Komen has a history of aiding and advancing women’s health since 1982, but that didn’t stop Planned Parenthood and others from publicly criticizing and questioning the motives of the organization that has willingly given to them over the years. This is the thanks they receive, apparently. Most logical people understand that a private charity has a right to do whatever it chooses with its funds. It seems unconscionable that after Komen provided grants to Planned Parenthood in the amount of about $700,000 annually, Planned Parenthood would take it to task for choosing—whatever the reasons are—not to donate at this time. Best Buy may be the worst, but I will give the award for the most pretentious and annoying tech retailer to any and every Apple store. Talk about the absolute worst customer service EVER. You practically have to make an appointment to go in there and browse! Combine that with having salespeople who look just like the customers, who just kind of wander around the store and wait on whoever they want. The place is mobbed ALL the time... I can go on and on, but the bottom line is, as much as I hate Best Buy, Apple is the worst customer experience ever!

I didn't know about any of this but I have noticed that their email advers to me have become increasingly frequent and desperate. It just smelled so bad I've taken to ignoring them. Glad I know why now.

Best Buy can't possibly go out of business fast enough. This has to be the WORST tech retailer in almost every way possible, but especially customer service. If you want a laugh, go look at all the reviews of Best Buy on Reseller Ratings.
