I have a friend who is so BernieBro! that he refuses to vote for Hillary, who he considers to be as bad as Trump. I love the guy, I do (he's gay, too, which I DO NOT GET; Edit: I don't get why he would support Trump as a gay man, not that I don't get him being gay), but he's all like, "She's evil, look at all the foreign policy stuff she allowed like wars and crap, and also she's owned by Wall Street and is super corrupt and also she's racist."

"With Hillary we know we'll get war. At least with Trump, we might not." = Actual thing he said.

And I don't agree with all she has done or said, but damn, seriously? I love the guy, but I may have to unfollow him on FB for the duration of election season.

Posting this to say that I am HERE for her. It's sincere, this "Note on The Toast," and I have never been, as was said above, so successfully pandered to :)

One of my first ever comments on The Toast (I was quite the late-bloomer) was, "Are you saying that Monk #2's penis actually does look like a horse tail? Do ALL monk penises look like horse tails? Is that why they're monks? IS NO ONE ELSE CONCERNED ABOUT THE IMPLICATIONS ABOUT MONK PENISES IN THIS POST??"

This one has always stuck in my head more than anything else on The Toast, and I cannot honestly tell you why.

Ugh, that is beautiful, damn you.

I am on my fourth(!!) knitted baby blanket this year, which I have declared Year of the Babes (not mine). I succeeded in finishing them all prior to baby coming, except for my current one. My sister had her daughter this morning (yay!), but I still have at least 10 inches to knit on the blanket (boo!). So, kick into extra high gear now. Luckily, this is my last one for a while. (No pics, though, I'm at work.)
