We all have to remember that elections have consequences we as a country have seen this first hand with the people we have in this place we call Washington, but it goes to local elections also, so what WE must do is root out all those politicians that hate America and do what ever we can to get them out of office. We need to back candidates that are not looking for a career but truly love this country, but that is not enough we must actively campaign against those who are in office now and get them out. I live in Michigan and my rep. to remove is John Dingel he has been in the house for 54 years and has voted against the people for as long as I can remember.

"We cannot go home for a recess unless the House and the Senate" act on healthcare, said Henry Waxman, chairman of the Energy and Commerce committee.

House leaders vowed to get a healthcare bill passed before the August recess, after unveiling a sweeping proposal to revamp the healthcare system that includes tax hikes on couples earning more than $350,000 and a new government-run health plan option. This is another hurry up we can't wait bill from our government, I wonder if anyone has read this bill. I wish the people in the congress would at least read before they sign, I would never sign a contract without reading it first and I don't expect them to either.
A sweeping overhaul of the U.S. healthcare system to be announced on Tuesday in the U.S. House of Representatives will include a surtax on millionaires of 5.4 percent, congressional sources said and the legislation calls for a 5.4 percent tax increase on individuals making more than $1 million a year, with a gradual tax beginning at $280,000 for individuals. Employers who don't provide coverage would be hit with a penalty equal to 8 percent of workers' wages with an exemption for small businesses. Individuals who decline an offer of affordable coverage would pay 2.5 percent of their incomes as a penalty, up to the average cost of a health insurance plan. So that means that no mater what everyone will be taxed for this health care of course I hear the unions will be not be required participate in this plan.

I wonder what makes congress believe that it right to take from one person because he has and give to another because he doesn't. This is like all the regular people chipping in to pay some deadbeats bills, just because they were responsible and didn't spend money they didn't have only to be told 'Oh Yea, The person down the street who bought a $250,000.00 house and makes $45,000.00 a year and has two new cars and a boat needs your help so every one on the block needs to give him 2.5% of their income so he can live like he feels he should.

This is just what our government is doing in almost every way I see, punishing the responsible and rewarding the irresponsible. This has to stop, we need to save our country and vote everyone out that votes for these kind a proposals.

In the United States, Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.
This is a day to celebrate our liberaty but it is not a one day a year thing is a 24/7/365 thing. Don't let this be taken away from us because we are just too DAM lazy.

I wrote this a few days ago and posted on News From You ;

Just heard some more trashing of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice presidential candidate from Republicans, when will it stop she was the only excitement in their campaign for president. The campaign was eight months ago and the only Republican I've seem with back bone still has a target on her back and it is the Republicans doing the shooting. She should pull it together and run as an independent because she has too much class and conviction in conservative ideas to be a republican.

I think she has just stood up to all those people and is telling American politics she is going to stand up to them and get the best people around her and make a change for the better in this government, and not the kind of "CHANGE" we are having forced on us now.

Article 1 Section 10. No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal; coin money; emit bills of credit; make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts; pass any bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law impairing the obligation of contracts, or grant any title of nobility.

Now will someone tell me what the hell California is doing giving out IOU's and three banks said they will honor them.

Why do we even try, they just step all over the Constitution with no regard.

Thank you I have read it the way it looks the banks own the Fed but the fed has power to make the banks do what they want by setting policy and the amount of money in circulation.

I have to ask something The Fed is a private company right. I'm not sure but if it is why in the world would we as vested interest parties not insist that they be accountable and show there the money goes and why. Where would one write to do the most good to get this to happen.

I don't know how to say this without putting in a bunch of facts, but if this country goes for the American energy act of 2009 and universal health care we are domed. As a country we can not afford to spend the money this would cost. Cap and trade policies have not worked anywhere in the world that they have been tried. Universal health care has not worked without long lines and denied care any where in the world either. And, we all know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.This universal health care is a cure for something that is not broke, 85% of the people in the United States have health care in one form or another of a country of 300,000,000 that is still 45,000,000 people without and that's allot of people. There are people in that group that just don't think healthcare is important and there are people in that who think that it is not my problem because if I get sick or injured someone else will take of me. We have to become a country that believes that everyone is responsible for themselves. We can not afford to take care of everyone and wipe their noses for them. If cap and trade passes in the Senate and Present Obama get his health care though Congress it will not be long before we are a 3rd world country, without the ability to care for ourselves let alone provide a living wage to raise our families and help those that we choose to help out.
