They can only take your guns and feedoms if you let them take them. Stand up and don't be a sheep. I pity the moron that comes to my door to try and take my guns. The British tried to disarm the citizens and we all know how that turned out. I want to be clear I am not supporting violence but the government should fear the people not the other way around.
There is no such thing as a Gunshow loophole. People need to be informed on quite a few issues when it comes to firearms. First of all if you hear it in the mainsream media it is probably not true. You would be suprised that the vast amount of people do not know the difference between a semi-auto and a full-auto. They see an AR-15 and think machine gun, they do not realize you pull the trigger once and it fires only one bullet. We as educated firearm owners need to get as many people to the shooting range as possible and let them see for themselves, most of the time the enjoy it so much the become gun owners themselves. I have converted many people this way. The price of ammo is a small price to pay to get another fellow NRA member and shooting enthusiast. If yuo know anyone who doesn't own a firearm or says they are for gun bans invite them to the range on your dime you might be suprised of the results.

It's not that they are afraid, they want control over every aspect of our lives. If we the people have no way to protect ourselves if the need arises they can push there will on us with little resistance. You should read up on the Revolutionary War and the events leading up to it. The British tried to ban guns from the American people. I hope it never comes to anything like that but if you read the history it is disturbing how alike the cicumstances were leading up the the Revolutionary War and what is happening today.
I contact my congressmen quire often about a majority of issues. H.R. 2401 is not needed it is already illegal to own a firearm if you are a convicted felon or a known terrorist. The Government needs to quit coming up with new laws and just enforce the ones we already have.
The new proposed assault weapon ban mentions banning any semi-automatic magazine fed firearms not HR 45 it calls for national registration of firearms, if they think we are all going to line up and have our guns registered they are badly mistaken. Once they know who has what they can send in the "brown shirts" to take them from us, but I don't think they are that stupid. In my state you don't have to get a permit to own a any gun. It is my God given inalienable right to bare arms I don't need the Government's permission nor will I ask for it to own a firearm. I did have to have a background check to get my ccw endorsement. FYI what you are calling a clip is most likely a magazine.
I don't really care if the government is watching this site. The government should fear the people not the other way around. Remember they work and serve the people not the other way around. You need to write your Representatives and Senators often and let them know if they do not represent your values and protect our rights we will do everything we can to vote them out of office. If enough of their constituents do this they will pay attention because all politicians care about are votes and money.
