I would like to know what people have got against clunkers? After all, we're all going to be a clunker one day. BO is going to do to us what he is doing to those cars.
BO is being forced to make a choice between the American people and China. The Chinese are very worried about their investments in our debt. Geithner has promised to begin paying down this debt. To do that he's got to break a promise to raise middle class taxes. The economic team and the press office are at odds. Yesterday Geithner said, "all options are on the table" , including higher taxes. Today Robert Gibbs tried to walk that back. Thirty years ago, during a debate former Dem VP candidate Walter Mondale said, "your taxes are going up, --- he won't tell you ----- I just did. This is an interesting fight, raise taxes during a VERY hot August recess, Or don't raise taxes to repay Chinese debt, and they cut up our credit card. Either way BO looses.
August is here and training camps are opening !!!!!!!!!! If Democrats come back after the August recess and suggest that the professional football season must be shortened to save gas/electricity and then slap a 500% surcharge on the price of a single ticket to pay for government run healthcare, you would have fans from the Atlantic to the Pacific packing stadiums to the rafters in NFL cities like Pittsburg, San Diego, Green Bay, Dalllas, and New York for one heck of a Tea Party. Everyone wants to know what it would take for people to take to the streets in massive numbers. A football tax would do the trick. I double dare them to suggest it.
You know when people rise up and say "Enough is Enough", dictators look quite weak & foolish. The little guys in Iran & N Korea just want someone to pay attention to them. Several years ago, "i'm-in-a-jiahiad" from Iran said all kinds of bad things about Pres. Bush during a UN speech. We were so afraid. Two months ago he barley survived a relolution by the people he tormented for many years. He's almost got nukes. Will Israel shoot first? Will they have to go it alone? Ask BO. Then there's BO's good buddy, Hugo a member of the Venezuelan Book Club. Back home, our own "mischief maker" is looking smaller with each passing day. That's the way it is with mere mortals. One day you've got it - then in a blink of an eye it's gone. Now it is our turn to rise up and say, "Enough is Enough!!!!!!
Union Card Check is Back !!!!!
I just read an article saying that Harry Reid was considering the pros and cons of mounting a "surprize attack" by bringing the card check bill to the floor, while everyone is focusing on government healtcare. It said he was in talks with the unions, but no decision had been made as to the exact timing or whether to move the bill.
While we're focusing on the right hand with healtcare ---- the left hand is up to no good.
Pelosi is banning the use of the phrase "government run healtcare" in the language used by congress. They have stopped Republicans from mailling the flow chart showing the plan. I suggest using that phrase in any faxes, calls, or e-mails that you make to DC.
I hope we get a chance to vote for her.
The Fab 4 --- Glenn, Rush, Hannity and Levin are making the difference in stopping BO agenda.
Words mean things. Here's a list of " liberalwordspeak" RUSH put together a few years ago.
Racist: oldest word in the liberal dictionary. Used in all situtations to describe anyone opposed to their agenda, used to quiet dissent against people who fear for their reputations.
Play the race card: Bill Clinton says BO played the race card on him.
Obstuctionist: describes those who disagree with them on policy.
Extra chromosome: Algore used this term to describe children with downs syndrome. Also "retarted" is used in a version to the current healthcare bill.
Winners of life's lottery: super ruch / inherited wealth or just got lucky. Their supporters--- hollywood elites, not included.
Investment: means taxes. Also "contribution"
Middle Class Americans: union members, (AFL-CIO, SEIU, ACORN, etc) Also minimun wage workers.
The blue dogs are listening to us. I just hope next year is not too late.
