One of the most worrying things is the destruction of wildlife habitats that occurs when new houses and infrastructure are built to accommodate the immigrant flood. Habitat destruction and fragmentation are major causes of species loss in the UK, and many native plants and animals are now in danger. What would you rather retain in this country: some of our rarest and most beautiful butterflies, birds and wildflowers, or countless more boatloads of third-worlders?

What is the EDL's strategy, I wonder? Do they even have one?

Is it that they are trying to provoke an over-reaction from immigrant communities, in the hope that the British public will turn against the immigrants? Or is it just that they enjoy drinking, shouting and fighting?

Unfortunateley for the EDL, the British public has never been keen on street brawlers.

The strategy of CEHR/Labour (the two are one and the same) is a very clever one, designed either to bankrupt the party or to provoke terribly destructive internecine warfare. This must be avoided at all costs. The fact is that this result needn't change a damn thing, because the *majority* membership decides the party's policies and direction, and that majority isn't about to become African or Asian any time soon. Nationalists should hold firm and proceed along the highly successful path laid out by the party leadership.

There might indeed be some positive aspects to this:

i. there will no longer be any grounds for enemies to accuse BNP members and supporters of being "racist";

ii. many potential members who were perhaps put off by the selective membership policy might now be persuaded to join the party;

iii. nationalists can take this opportunity to debate the status of those people from the ethnic minorities who are fiercely patriotic, and as determined as we are to preserve all that is best about Britain.

Mandelson is by no means the only closet Marxist. Peter Hitchens has written an interesting piece about the communist leanings of other members of the Labour government: see "Comrade Alan and his army of Useful Idiots" http://hitchensblog.mailonsunday.co.uk/

There was a time, not so long ago, when every working class neighbourhood in the country had a grammar school nearby: it was something to which academically gifted children from poorer backgrounds could aspire. Many such children were able to go to university and then into the professions as a result of a grammar school education. They did not need to be granted special favours or quotas, because they were able to prove themselves just as smart, or smarter, than the kids coming out of public schools. We need to return to that kind of meritocratic system.

Whenever the government wants to impose yet another insane policy, it does so by small steps, in the hope that people won't notice the insanity. This, I fear, is merely a prelude to the granting of amnesties to hundreds of thousands of illegal invaders.

Shows how hopelessly out of touch NuLabour are to have a dedicated man-hater like Harperson as deputy leader. She's lost half of the electorate before she's even started.

"A new poll has found that more than 7 out of 10 adults want immigration cut by over 80%. Just 1 in 20 adults support the current level. The YouGov poll, which was commissioned by Migrationwatch for the Cross Party Group on Balanced Migration, found that 79 per cent of people were 'concerned' or 'very concerned' about the issue of immigration."

There is no doubting what the majority of UK citizens want. Will the government now respond, and end the madness of uncontrolled mass immigration?

The figures by MigrationWatch give the lie to the notion that it would be cheaper to let illegal immigrants stay than to expel them. Clearly, the rational option is not to spend billions of pounds supporting these criminals, but rather to use a fraction of that money to train and support a permanent team of professional investigators to root them out and kick them out.

The position of protestant and catholic church leaders on this issue is both naive and treacherous. As has been said many times before, they should keep their noses out of politics and get back to their real job of filling our deserted churches.
