I used to eat there while in St. Louis and pulled pork is tremendous. Bandana’s is a great add on to the Coralville scene.

I have to agree here. I know several people that live in this area and tell me it's safer in Chicago. Furthermore, there are so many problems with the statistics its hard to point to point them all out. I could, however it would take me too long.

Students are going to to get alcohol either in the dorms, or houses that is just the it is. I know this because I've been in this type of situation and all my friends and friends of friends obtained plenty of spirits. The cops are just doing their job which is enforcing the law and as a student and my friends (long ago) didn't give any grief because we knew why the cops were bang at our door what laws were being broken. We had to pour the beer get our butts chewed a little and that was the end of of it. There was a mutual respect between students and law enforcement and no one got hurt.

I got this off the Iowa DNR website. The Paddlefish may have seen the jig as an insect larva, but either way...that is a big fish to reel in.

* Characteristics - slate-colored above, lighter below; greatly elongated snout, long gill covers and a shark-like mouth; scaleless with a skeleton of cartilage
* Distribution - Mississippi and Missouri Rivers as well as lower reaches of some larger tributaries of the Mississippi
* Foods - zooplankton, insect larvae
* State Record - 107 pounds - Missouri River, Monona County , March 1981 - Robert Pranschke, Onawa, Iowa
* Expert's Tip - almost all paddlefish are caught by snagging below a dam in the spring

Don't you think it's a bit early to try, convict, and sentence a person to death even though the State of Iowa does not rule as such? The Court of the blogosphere shows no mercy. If he looks weird, and retarded, and had possession of the murder weapon; he MUST be guilty, so off with his head and the Star Chamber will rule our legal system once more.
