I've been looking at this project for quite a while. It's good to see the artist making steady progress. There is much work to be done however, since illustrations for the other world(investigations), most of the location cards(Mythos, Encounter), item cards(especially allies), and finally, the map still has to be made to reach a playable state.

The numbers are directly lifted from the original version so the game balance is going to be exactly the same.

This may be the first MLP comic that I didn't like. The plot would have been okay if it was executed well. It hinges on the contest runners making the basic mistake of not knowing who the contestants were, however, so the whole affair came off as pathetically lazy writing, just like S3E12 "Games Ponies Play". I feel really sorry for the contestant that was left out.

He's only making judgements on what he can. It's not that anything before that provides relevant information.

Also, the portal itself is a gaping plot hole. Something like six plot holes in one package, each capable of destroying the premise of the movie by itself.

If the core premise of the movie fails due to logical fallacies, all the movie has left is shiny visuals and fan service.

Armageddon had both, and it surely took away a major part of the revenue from Deep Impact.
