but Bush didn't have anything to do with the housing bubble.

Evisceration of the Middle Class was a key part in that and he did his part by:

Allowing a literal invasion from Mexico
Aiding in shipping our jobs overseas
Supporting unfair "Free Trade."
Importing OVER A MILLION 3rd world peons with the "H1B" visa and the "L1" visa systems designed to destroy the middle class in this country.

For all you want to blame the honest Americans - they didn't want to lose their homes. And had Bush's NEOCON BUDDIES like Phil Graham (Texas connection) hadn't made it PROFITABLE to generate bad loans via the repeal of Glass-Steagal it also wouldn't have created a bubble.

These laws were put in place to prevent questioning of the so-called "Holocaust" because it could not stand challenges by those who had FACTS. That is why Historians like David Irving were put in jail like Galileo was during another dark period when irrational people who had power based on a myth did not want that myth challenged. Now they are being used against others.
