What's going on? I think there may be a mistake, your link to "voted to fire him" is from June of 2008. I've been following this fairly well and don't think it's over yet.

Here's the best reason to not eat at Chick-fil-A, their close ties with Ken Ham from the Creation museum. http://blogs.answersingenesis.org/blogs/ken-ham/2...

If you'd like some audio to tickle your brain a little, I'd recommend heading on over to Librivox and checking out the Robert G. Ingersoll lectures. They really did a good job of recording them and they stand the test of time. I found myself wanting to cheer the great orator out loud while listening.

Good luck! I hope there are no repercussions. I have usually kept my mouth shut because I like being employed, it helps feed the family and pay the mortgage. I wish the religious would return the favor.

Jeff Sharlet mentions Hillary Clinton's involvement in the book but it does seem to be downplayed in his interviews. I don't recall Al Gore being mentioned in the book but I couldn't finish it. I found it a difficult read, if the premises of the book were true, I found them to be very deeply disturbing. I have every reason to believe things are as bad as the picture Jeff Sharlet paints and am deeply saddened that our elected officials are corrupt at such a level that they would want support of groups like the "family."

Yeah, the stats and entire comment are lies. It's becoming apparent that christians will always be dishonest to further their agenda or try and shape the public discourse. Oh boo, hoo, we're so persecuted for our superstition.

We should leave Afghanistan immediately. The mission has been accomplished a long time ago and we are now just hated occupiers. We should unilaterally withdraw and let the Afghans have the government of their choice. Then we should keep a close eye on them to make sure they can't repeat the conditions that made 9/11. Imagine another country occupying yours? You'd probably also be against the invaders and occupiers no matter what they did.

It's great that the subject of the post is spelled correctly. I am more confident that the author actually understands the topic.
