So Suffolk is losing 90% of SEND cases and yet the author commends the council in her last sentence. Something not quite right here. I'm never quite sure of the merits of these local newsletters.

The real and only reason why we had a referendum in 2016 was because Cameron couldn't control the party. There never was any compulsion.

Every day we get 10 different versions of what the leave vote means. And you are telling us that the voters understood what they were doing? No deal was not even mentioned all those years ago. It's an invention to overcome the will of the people, who were expecting a deal.

There is no constitutional imperative to hold referendums. They are invariably only used when parliament is not prepared to take difficult decisions. Ours is a parliamentary democracy which we vote for our MPs to administer on our behalf.
