I don't think adding more wood dust is the solution....composting is supposed to be eco-friendly, isn't it? So to help us be more eco-friendly, we're gonna chop some more trees...?
C'mon, Nature's Needs! There's gotta be a better option!

There's also the one where Bin Laden died long ago from organ failure rather than military causes, which is the one I'm inclined to believe.
If and once we've squished Al-Qaeda the way we squished the Third Reich, THEN we can start making any relevant post-war comparisons. Until that day comes, it's an entirely different can of worms.
Between the MANY differing faces of Bin Laden we've seen in videos and photographs over the years and the ban on these alleged photos, I'm not remotely convinced that we got him. A lot of Americans have DIED going after this man---if there is supposedly proof that our government finally caught him, then I think so many of us who can remember 9/11, especially those of us who lost people on that day or in the resulting war, deserve to see that proof.
LOL
Depends on which species was involved and how big the fish was.
I don't know why so many people are giving me thumbs-down. I picked this up from volunteering at a pre-release site for endangered creatures who had been injured but could still return to the wild. Typical wolf behavior is actually to avoid crossing paths with other predators, and the wolves' senses of smell are much stronger than the big cats' are. As such, the wolves will usually try to move away before ever wandering into another predator's territory. The big cats are more likely to stick to a specific area even if there is a larger concentration of potentially threatening creatures like humans or bears. The main reason that the animals are even wandering into cities at all is that we have deforested so much. If it were just the wolves and cougars left to their own devices, then things would look quite different.
Yup, this is the second marker which has turned up this week. They could be completely unrelated given the distance; but if anybody on here ever actually does hypothetically find a plaque or headstone that they want returned its proper place, they might want to take it to their local historical society. Odds are that the people there will try to find out where the marker belongs, and they would be able to ask local cemetaries if a person by that name was buried or interred there. I did a paper on cemetaries once and found out that they sometimes do have and keep some records going back to the pioneer days and before, so they might still be able to match the marker to a resting pace provided they can still read the name and approximate dates. With a newer plaque like this, though, the grave or niche should be even easier to identify....especially if the person is identified as having been in the military, in which case all you should have to do is contact or drop off the gravemarker with your nearest military office.
It doesn't say that it was returned directly to the family, it just says that it was dropped off at Goodwill & the family recognized the headstone. It's quite possible that the person who took it to Goodwill actually was the person who stole it; but if he/she were really acting on conscience, it seems more likely that they would have chosen to anonymously/secretly return it to the place from which they took it. If you take something to Goodwill, you have no idea what's going to happen to it. Maybe the person just had the headstone lying around and decided to get rid of it. It could have been either a person who stole it or someone who found the stone after somebody left it lying around.
looks more scared or nervous to me
