I just watched the first episode of Wolf Hall and almost everything above is in there except for the piano playing. I really don't get all the fuss about Wolf Hall based on the first episode alone. Anyone care to explain it to me (not the plot, the appeal)?
The white men who talk loudly about how Eric Garner/Michael Brown wouldn't have been killed if they'd just listened to the police. But this doesn't just happen at the airport.

Best airport restaurant in the United States by far is Tortas Frontera at O'Hare. But I will -- in a heartbeat -- have an amazing and guilt-free time at any Vino Volo or the equivalent.
It is gorgeous and you look beautiful!
I find it highly amusing that he thinks this interview is helping his cause when instead it just confirms that he is a sexist entitled white dude who doesn't get it at all.

Thank you! I just saw my first installment of this series -- Fast Five -- on an airplane and intensely and incredulously loved it. I have tried to explain to friends and family why it is so good but Roxane -- of course -- does a far better job than I ever could.
I had a senior colleague put on an art show of his work one day in our department (I am a sociologist) -- like literally he stuck his paintings on the walls, right alongside the posters for upcoming seminar talks, etc. and then invited/forced us all to attend a reception. And then he didn't take them down after the reception -- one of them is still up two years later. Fucking men.
