Oh, I know that many teas really do need water just shy of boiling. But it's hard to get that (especially to be consistent enough about it to not melt your plastic mug...also who knows what temperature it would have to be to not melt?) unless you have one of those fancy kettles that you can set to the exact degree.

I concur, drink whatever you like!

But I will also use this thread to complain about David's Tea. Recently I went into one to complain that the tea travel mug I had bought was MELTING (there are some plastic parts in the little tea basket) and the saleperson said: "well, you know that your water doesn't have to be BOILING..."

I mean, I just watched an episode from last season, and there were TWO pastors. (ok, fine, one pastor and one 'worship leader'.)

This is, in fact, a completely accurate description of Oprah Chai. Which is the ONLY kind of chai now available at the Starbucks in the university library.

Yeah, I also remember her talking about how anti-Muslim prejudice played a role in the prosecutions arguments at trial, and fully getting the impression that unfair racial/religious biases were important to how Adnan was portrayed/why he was convicted. I think it was in the earlier episodes. It was definitely discussed.

This is the best one: "Toast is no more "feminist" than the Daily Mash or News Thump. It's just quirkier and, on its day, funnier."

Mallory and Nicole, did you know that your site is not feminist?

Veggie restaurants: The Beet, Hogtown Vegan, Hibiscus Cafe. If you want something a little bit fancy, Woodlot (they have two parallel full menus, one for meat eaters and one for veggies) is supposed to be amazing.

As for things to do, it depends! Do you like to wander around new cities? Go to museums? Do outdoorsy things?
