Illicit trade is booming in Australia and their neighbours are hours away. It's going to be hilarious to watch how this pans out with EU free movement of goods.

Plus, allowing freedom of choice means you get a bigger pension! Just think of that for a minute. You can be a true conservative AND increase your wealth, all you have to do is shed your gullibility and the blind allegiance to junk science. ;)

There has been no court case anywhere proving that passive smoke has caused physical harm. You know this, which is why you obfuscate.
If that case is the best you can do, I can find dozens which prove heavy metal music irritating to neighbours and should be banned. But then, you'd probably agree with too, wouldn't you.

There's not much point debating with you if you are so wildly ignorant of the subject matter.

Because I believe in liberty and personal responsibility. I though other Conservatives believed the same. I was wrong, clearly.

During your googling, did you find any cases where passive smoking was successfully proven in a court of law? Take your time.

So I ask you again. Can you remember what the "ex-Deputy Speaker" was saying? Or did it just accord with your prejudice so you went along with it?
You seem happy to play the man not the ball when it favours you - including dismissing world-renowned scientists - but not recognising that the same principle is the basis for every single post you've submitted today.
You've been given links and evidence, you've replied with what you heard from a guy in the pub. You've been given the opinions of the Grandfather of tobacco science, you responded by saying he was ill-informed. You've insisted that vested interests shouldn't be listened to, while being oblivious that your own opinions are formed by lobbyists who play on your hatred.
The great thing is that you're a Tory who justifies my blog tag of #MadTories whenever I hear this stupid idea that we should treasure liberties by voting for Cameron's lot. Ta muchly. :)

I love the way you dismiss the opinions of a world-respected scientist in favour of your own ignorant, tabloid-fed bigotry. You do know who Doll is, don't you? And why he is respected as the world's foremost authority on tobacco harm?
My guess is that tonight was the first time you'd ever heard of him. ;)
