Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, DK, Diddy, Yoshi, Wario, Link (Skyward Sword), Zelda (I dont really see her skyward sword form as a fighter...), Ganondorf, Samus, Pit, Ice Climbers, Kirby, Meta Knight (But make him not as cheap XD), King DDD, Olimar, Fox, Falco, Wolf, Captain Falcon, Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer, Lucario, Jigglypuff, Marth, Ike, Ness, Lucas, Mr. GAW, Sonic
POSSIBLY RETURNING
Toon Link (I like him... but he's just a copy...), R.O.B., Snake (I always thought that he didn't really fit), Mewtwo (It would be sweet to get him back!)

Ghiriham, Zoroark (That would be so sweet), Banjo and Kazooie (Their greatest adventures were on the N64...), Megaman (He's made plenty appearences with nintendo), Impa, Thats all I got for now, but here would be links new moveset XD:

Standard Smash: Bow and Arrow
Side Smash: Beetle (It would work like snakes side smash, and it could pick up items :)
Down Smash: Bombs
Up Smash: Spin Attack :)
Final Smash: Skyward Strike: For a short period of time, Power fills link's sword and whenever he used his sword, it uses a skyward strike :)
