sadly is all comes down to the almighty dollar...the cheapest wins.....

How about some American Pride and using an American Company to cloth our Olympic Athletes!!

Knocking a player out is not intentionally injuring him. He is getting hit hard...
I am not trying to justify a damn thing.

So every team is trying to injure players then....
Because that is the DEFENSE'S job. Hit the offense as hard as they can so they will leave the field and not come back or they will alter their game. Injuries are a PART OF THE GAME. Always have been always will be.
we do not agree on this...that is fine....
Oh and don't be so blind that this is not apart of just about every team in the league. because it is. Not as organized, but every single team has had a coach tell a player something along the lines of knock his a## out. That is part of the game. Just cause you got a really good LEGAL shot on a guy and he gets injured...well that is part of the game.
Hit the other team so hard they want to quit.
No I do not have any idea of what "evidence" has been presented. I just know what the talking heads at the NFL have said they have as evidence. I don't believe...PROVE IT.
the coaches admitted it.....fine. THE NFLPA is basically saying SHOW US THE EVIDENCE against the players.
why only 4 players? Why not the 22 they have "evidence" that took part in the program?

Yeah you "really care"....BS. You got caught and you ended up having to pay.
"We settled with them, and that's in the past," said Greg Magnoni, a spokesman for the archdiocese. "In every case of sexual abuse that's occurred in a Catholic institution we deeply regret any harm or pain to the victims or the family."

If you really cared (the CHURCH that is), this would never have become as widespread as it was. The cover ups and the moving of the pedophile priests would not have occurred.....

Where was that stated? "purposefully injuring a player"? There was a bounty for knock outs, big hits and knocking a player from the game. These things all happen in EVERY game, LEGALLY!
You don't think that EVERY single team twists knees elbows etc. in the bottom of the pile? don't kid yourself, they do.

and you believe that a guy making millions a year is going to try to injure a player for 10K? seriously? That was simply for extra motivation...albeit misguided.

However you also need to realize that this suit has a lot more at stake than the bounties, right? This is a bad precedent, where the NFL has tried these people in the public eye, not released ALL of the "evidence", and there is no due process.
