Inflation is the largest tax that ALL CITIZENS are hit with. The federal reserve keeps inflating our currency to cover the debt. Instead of actually increasing taxes...they can just print more and devalue the dollar...making it easier to pay off debt.

Remember when one parent could support the family and the other parent could stay home? Yeah...that was when we still had the GOLD STANDARD.

THe government and Federal Reserve have been stealing our wealth for decades yet for some reason no one is waking up to it.

That doesn't even happen in the US. Did you visit the gay families visiting the white house thread? Or how about our numerous foreign adventures of spreading Democracy by killing Civilians to knock down one terrorist.

Imagine if that was happening here...would you be angry at who did it???

You need to read up more. We armed Bin Laden...we armed Hussein for US interests...well not actually us...OUR GOVERNMENT DID. We've been meddling in the middle east for decades...arming radical groups that best suit our interests...then stabbing them in the back when we need something else.

I'm glad you are a real Conservative...and understand what it is. Unfortunately many here call themselves one yet don't follow what a real Conservative stands for. Smaller government...freedom to the individual..state rights....staying out of foreign affairs unless it has to do with trade...freedom of religion..etc.

Too many here want to force their beliefs on the rest of the country...which quite frankly is no different than Democrats/liberals.

No one is willing to see it. Wake up people and recognize your own faults and be tolerant of others...

Biden is an idiot...but so is Karl Rove...and the fact that many of you are sticking up with him is ridiculous. I thought this site was supposed to NOT be about party...yet so many of you will say whatever you can to defend the Bush administration.

When are some of you going to get it that neither one of the major political parties truly stand for freedom to the individual?

If you think Mitt Romney, Guiliani, Jindal, or most anyone else in the Republican party are actually going to SHRINK government then you are wrong...they won't.

What SHOULD be the issue is the federal reserve!!!! Can't any of you realize that they have been inflating our currency for decades to finance social programs and war....it's just a hidden tax. Remember when one person could support a family? It's very difficult to do it now...why? Inflation...Nafta...taxes.

All of you should be hammering the Federal Reserve instead people are crying about an easter egg hunt.

No wonder the country is such a mess...everyone has their priorities completely screwed up from listening to talk a radio and other biased news...in which almost ALL of them are.

How many of you actually check up the facts? How many of you actually try to see the other side's view?

Majority should be TOLERANT....if not..everyone in some form of another will be in the minority of something. Democracy was HATED by our founding fathers. Read the Constitution as it was originally written...you will not find the word "Democracy" anywhere.

Another thing I find funny is i'm being labeled as a liberal here and i'm not. I'm conservative because i believe in individual rights and freedoms...looks many of you don't.

The so called diehard conservatives i see here are for more liberal than conservative..they are just too blinded by Republican rhetoric to see it.

I was hoping for more than this from people on this site...instead i see how ugly some of you are and how close minded and intolerant so many seem to be here.

Freedom of religion? What i mostly see is that people believe in that if it only applies to THEIR religion....

Religion CANNOT be pushed upon others!! No one likes being told what to do...including you...and the very people you criticize.

I could care less what other people do as long as it DOESN'T INFRINGE ON MY RIGHTS. I see hypocrisy everywhere in this thread. Not everyone has the same opinion as you would like them to have..and they have that right UNDER THE CONSTITUTION!

Conservatives are supposed to be for INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS! Where are the real conservatives!?!?!?!

Does everyone forget that we were once allies with Bin Laden? Does everyone forget that we once armed him and Hussein? Don't you see the game the government has played with American lives? I'm sorry but if we can't get beyond accepting other people's religions and other countries borders...then we have already lost.

The media constantly misleads us....don't believe everything on television. I can see it in so many posts here that the only place you are getting your information is television.

Some of you need to start looking at other sources.

The United States in the power that it once was. If you haven't noticed...our military is overstretched...our economy is faltering...and the nation is completely bankrupt.

Some of you have to come to grips with this.
