Much more simpler than Bernouilli trial, for sure :) That's what I like with probabilities, there are plenty of ways to find the solution. Hell, one can even find a solution with permutations and combinations. But still, I think it remains too complicated, the main purpose of this "article" was to give people not that good at math the average killing power of a unit. But your input is definitively good.
