Such a good question. I think we should refuse to be held captive by legalists, especially those who want to project their choices in the gray areas over everyone else. Good points. My saying, "our generation is more enlightened" I was actually riffing off of our own conceit. I changed the wording to "we consider ourselves more enlightened." Hope that clarifies.
