On the coverage of this story on Mosaic cable news here in San Francisco, they actually accused the Jews in Yemen of being responsible for inciting anti-Jewish violence for being stubborn in not accepting the fine and dropping the case. Grrrrrrr.

I'd say the world has gone mad, but the truth is this has been the case in muslim lands for thousands of years. It's nothing new.

Bullshit.
The US does nothing without the blessings of their Saudi Masters.
The US armed forces have bases in Saudi Arabia, not Israel, and they only went into Iraq with the blessings of the Saudis, not the Jews.
