Iv n ever seen the Rep we have here, even during the pre election, for that matter I never saw the last one either, he lost and now is a lobbyist for a law firm in DC. Good guys the both of them Im sure, I hope that our new guy can figure out how to do the things that need to be done to help bring on the changes we are looking for.

I agree the media has put a spin on the Tea Parties. Spun it like a top really. They took an event from a pure brother for brother and made it look like a brother vs. brother event. How Rude. So here is an idea. Why not doing another one. All quiet like, no real media attention at all. hell dont even bother to organize, it. Just pick a place, post it on your local blog site figure out the time and date.; Go armed with only what you can carry. Go armed with knowledge. get everyone together, give the world a protest that would make others seem like mere sit ins!

Topic: Special Interests, Can they do what they do with out public funds? Couldnt they find the same funding outside in the private sector? I wouldnt be apposed to lobbyists speaking to government officials about topics that they represent, but how can we stop the corruption that that now ensues? Iv never(till now) even spoken to a special interest. Yes that is how I see us now, we really are. Shouldnt there be a code of conduct or somthing like that, so those that abuse it can be brought to the for front and made to be held accountable for their actions?
I dont know just a thought.

Heat, you do know that you have already been GPS'ed right. If I had your address I can walk,drive, launch a missile. Right to your living room. It sux that this happened, kinda takes some of the privacy out of life but hey it helps the emergency people more often than the bad guys so why give any one grief about it. No need feeding the already debockled paranoia that exists in America today . As long as people dont knock on my door and just walk to the mailbox/ marker , to check the address no issues from me.

Greetings and salutations. I have ran into the needing approval posts too, Id like to know aswell.
But the already tax us on at least on level for a carbon gas producer. Fuel, My concern is when are we going to be taxed for breathing. I think we through breathing put out more carbon than my 1992 chevi does in my life time, so when are they going to do those taxes. Fear mongers all of them.

It would be fair to go with either tax program, I think. To some degree a flat tax would be better in my guess do to the ability to collect those taxes. I realize that it is less fair than the fair tax idea because it hits those making more heavier then those making less. But under either plan, the wealthy is still paying more. taxation is such a hard thing to figure out. What would be the issue of a flat tax for the fed, and a sales tax for the states, as long as the tax is one that is beneficial to citizens then it would be fair, and as long as the taxes being paid to both combined equal to no more than say 23% total citizen liability??? I dont know just a thought. It would make it a nightmare for the tax preparer i think. Fed would be on a pay check basis, and states through each sale , so to figure out the taxes owed at the end of the year wouldnt be that hard. Refunds would become a thing of the past and well thats not that much of an issue. But once the National debt is paid, and the none special interest programs are running (to a benefit), and the country is running in a positive manner then the talks could be started for country wide refunds, or a country wide retirement investment program, separate from Social Security. Hey thats an idea. huh wow

I would even go as far as 15- to 20 %. I love my country and would love to see her function at peek. No more special interests being funded but tax dollars, private funding only. No more bail outs. etc. The flat tax would allow the government to fund projects, like infrastructure, aerospace, MILITARY and the like. With out going broke. I would be in favor of a system like this, as long as it cant be attached to by S.I's
