Everyone smokes weed, smart and dumb.

I was stating that dumb people are more likely to abuse hard drugs.

Cigarette smoking is an IQ test. I've never met a PhD in Physics who smoked cigarettes. If they exist, pretty rare.

I've met a LOT of cigarette smokers with high school degrees.

People with high school degrees tend to be a LOT dumber than Physicists.

Are you going to dispute that? 😀

The fact that a certain % of our population has extremely low IQs, who frequently make bad decisions is irrelevant? That's your opinion.

And the % of our population that has mental illness is irrelevant to substance abuse? Says who?

Heavy use of cannabis is not "substance abuse".

Use of opiates, opiods, alcohol and tobacco certainly are. And some people who abuse those hard drugs have low IQs and mental illness. That's my point.

It's called factual context. Not hysterical opinion.

Your statement ignores the context, once again.

Adult-onset Cancer is caused by lifestyle choices, diet, exercise, chemical exposure. Again, not the fault of cannabis.

You ignored the facts I stated.

Ignoring facts only makes you ignorant.

Intentionally ignoring facts makes you willfully ignorant.

Even if that number was true, the context is that 93.5% of the population has no substance abuse problems whatsoever.

As for the other 6.5% that you claim has a substance abuse problem....

Correlation does not prove causation. What are some possible causes?

What % of the population has extremely low IQs? 2-3%, at least.

What % of the population has DNA caused mental illness that's there at birth?

What about the kids of the % of population whose parents are drug addicts?

That could easily add up to 6.5%.

Don't try and blame opiate addiction on weed. Opiates come from prescription pads of Medical Doctors, made in factories in America, legally. Capitalism. Free markets.

If you don't like the consequences of over prescription of opiates, don't blame it on weed, man. 😀

The vast majority of youth 18-25 (87%) are not daily users.

You're claim that this is a "frightening" problem is hyperbole and is not based on the facts. Furthermore, you have no scientific evidence that heavy, daily use is a "serious" problem.

There's no "buried lede".

Nothing wrong with these on a Sunday morning, if you're thin and you just got back from your 5 mile run with HITT.

Seriously, the people who grew potatoes lived above 10, 000 feet, where there's very little oxygen and walked 10 miles a day.

If you eat potatoes, sleep less than 6 hours a night or more than 8 hours, drink alcohol, and watch TV---you're probably obese.

We figured there was too much happiness here for just the two of us, so we figured the next logical step was to have us a critter.

Why did Sick Dick Cheney disband the weekly meetings on al Qaeda in early 2001, if they were a threat to us?
