I do not want to sound harsh. Medicare, Medicaid and Chips will continue to suffer. Many Doctors are no longer serving clients with these payment groups. Reimbursement is atrocious. A Pediatric Neurologist gets paid a total of 6 dollars for office visit including general workup and electroencephalograph. Further government programs will ensure bankruptcy of the American health systems.

Sorry to reply here but the other area wouldn’t let me reply. 27 years in healthcare. Those Cuts of the last 18…well sit back it is going to be an even bumpier ride. They are going after our salaries next, supplies are already taking the brunt. The Clinton admin hurt us bad then we recovered a very small amount during Bush, but late Bush admin we took the DRG etc... Charting is a nightmare, supplies gone, healthcare in crisis…

Hey Glenn Beck...
In the past couple weeks I have written my Governor (Postal Mail and Electronic,) Congress Man, and the white house. More letter writing than papers in political science class. Read and bought books I would not have even dreamed of reading. Some are partially read some just started. Magazines articles, News Papers... its like Politics 101 on speed.
…however the news gets worse and worse.
I now truly understand the frame of mind your caller was in that you told to give you six weeks. I too want to curl up in a fetal position. The Government just does not care.
I will stand for freedom I will not curl up and die... but man, the Government just plain SUCKS!

NevadaMom I feel your frustration. My own family (siblings) had no idea and did not care. I taped Glenn Beck and made copies sending to them daily for a couple weeks. They are now listening. I have bought sent them books, articles and prayed for their eyes to be opened. It’s a slow process but they are coming around.
