I think you will get that which you seek-long term. It may not be tomorrow but it is coming. We will start by reversing the prop 8 and that will not happen if folks give up hope. My concern is that this issue over the pastor will hurt that cause with those on the fence. I HOPE THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN...but the anger very well could backfire, and I am talking about VOTERS, not Obama.

I started as a volunteer after becoming an Obama community organize know volunteer and am a now a representative on my local Democratic Central Committee.

Recommend that if you are interested in shaping the politics in your local and state area, that you volunteer by either joining and/or supporting your local Democratic Central Committee.

Many also have community projects that benefit youth and other groups (woman's club, for example) which do good work that is NOT POLITICAL. Your participation can also address issues you care about (like PROP 8 in California).

By being involved at the local area by volunteering YOU both give to your community and set the direction of the Democratic Party in your local, State and National level. If you don't the issues that are important to you may not get the attention they need and the community issues you care about may not get supported.

PS: I am not a party insider pushing the Democratic Party because I am a Democrat. You can only change what you get involved in.

Your GRASS ROOTS DELEGATES ARE KEY VOLUNTEERS FOR YOUR ADMINISTATION!

Include the Obama National Delegates who were grassroots delegates as VOLUNTEERS in discussion forums when meeting with business and organization leaders. We are the grass roots leaders you have in the local community. I am talking specifically the delegates that NEVER WERE INVOLVED before as they bring to the table no party line thinking. I am not talking about the party movers and shakers that have been delegates over and over--but YOUR GRASSROOTS DELEGATES. The level of involvement now and the next four years will pay off during the next Presidential election. These are your go to people, too.

I concur that missing one payment by one or two days and seeing your interest rate go from 9 percent to 28 percent with a huge (several hundred dollar) increase in monthly payment --after a zero interest rate teaser, should be criminal. In order for another dime to banks who took bailout money, reversal in these type situations should be paramount to another dime of TARP money distribution or the next time they come up for any money for anything. Must be made a priority. This would also apply to those who can prove late on say 3 payments due to verifiable disability. If you have no health care, which could be the single cause of the length of an illness, should be six months before any interest rate or monthly payment hike be allowed.

A National Health coverage plan would save money for business if designed to cover any and all illness or injury. By inclusion of all medical concerns you do away with the MEDICAL INSURANCE component of Workers' Compensation insurance. You would still have other liability issues to cover, just as now, but the employer cost for Workers' Compensation would (or should if done right and monitored) drop dramatically for every employer in the US, except those that are huge and choose to be self-insured,
