Remember that these guys have been packing the judiciary for many decades. Most of the very judges and justices who protect the bad guys are, themselves, in appointed seats protected from public election and accountability to the public.
If the US Supreme Court felt it ok to overturn the Constitution and more than half a millennium of Common, English, and US law to say that secured creditors have no right to their own property (Chrysler), why ever would they or any lower court feel compelled to hold the Administration accountable for its behavior?
A jury trial might - maybe - see some justice at the hands of a jury, but any verdict would simply be appealed and appealed until it reached SCOTUS, and we've now seen how the progressive Supremes feel about the rule of law.
It's gonna take more than overhauling the legislative branch to save our land. We'll have to find a way to clean the judicial house as well. Which will require overhauling the educational system that created them. Which will require the cooperation of the legislature and judiciary in the first place.
Which will require... etc. etc. I think I'm getting dizzy!

"The battle is now joined on many fronts. We will not waver; we will not tire; we will not falter; and we will not fail. Peace and freedom will prevail."
I think a new fight has been enjoined, even more important than that one, and to which those great words equally apply. May all of us not waver, nor tire, nor falter. And I believe that if we seek God's grace and will for each of us and for our nation, neither will we fail.
Thanks, Ron, for furthering the argument. And thank you, Glenn, for being the watchman.
