Yes, which is why he is clearly detailed in the listing.

To complete the trilogy, Classical Source also planned to cover the third of the three Israel/Mehta concerts at Carnegie Hall (Thursday the 9th) , but the reviewer went ill at the last moment. For the record, the programme was Weber's Oberon Overture, Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, with Gil Shaham, and Schubert's Ninth Symphony (Great C-major).

Well, in the programme-note for this concert, Mahler’s original (if suppressed) title for Symphony 3’s second movement was cited as being “What the Meadow Flowers Tell Me”. In his transcription of this music – made in 1941 to help bring Mahler’s music to a bigger public – Britten used the word "Wild" to include in the title (maybe there was/is doubt as to how the German best translates into English). I have just repeated what is said in the review.

Indeed, maybe Curtis had a slip with the Haas bars. More to come from reviewer; Curtis has been contacted.

Equally for the record, it's Huberman (one n).

Thanks Martin. The Chandos booklet clearly states "premiere recordings" at the head of the track-listing indicating that all is a first, but without comparing contents it seems Naxos is ahead of the game in terms of these two works.

To which one can add Viktoria Mullova - all concertos (including Berg's) are played with the score - and, turning to pianists, Richard Goode now usually has copy, as Richter did in his later years. That Progostkina knows the Berg cannot be doubted given she presented it so persuasively understated in tandem with such a sympathetic conductor.
