I stand corrected. This is hopeful news for those of us who are fed up! And even more reason for people to continue to address their complaints to the company, vote with their wallets, etc. Maybe there's a tipping point on the horizon.

My prediction is that none of the changes they have made over the last several years will affect/have affected their bottom line, and I suspect that this community, however valid its members' feelings may be, is in the minority. I doubt there will be enough of a critical mass of former customers defecting from Anthro to change anything. But, hey, who knows.

I think it's because the items have yet to go live on the site --but yeah, it's distracting.
Then again, maybe it IS meant to be "Pricess" -- as in "Price-ss" as in, "OMG this coat is $348 I can't even with these pricesssss."

Can you imagine if it had an apostrophe in its name? We'd have never gotten a store in the first place, I bet.

OT, and not sure if this has been mentioned before, but there is a 20% promo on full-priced bedding and bath -- now, if only I still had all those items on my "Home" Wishlist so I could track them down... Hee hee. Ha. Ugh.

Well, if there is a mass defection of customers to the point where it starts affecting their bottom line, it would be bad business not to do something about it. I don't know. If the loyal, long-term customers are in the minority, and Anthro is looking to attract a wider base of more casual shoppers (which runs counter to their branding, as someone else pointed out), then, yeah, I guess it's take-it-or-leave-it. Watch for the numbers at quarter-end, I guess.

+1. My wallet's happier about this, though. ;-)

Funny -- I just commented above re: how those of us in Quebec lost all access to the website toward the end of 2012-first few months of 2013! After THAT blatant disregard for customers, everything else seems to pale in comparison. I know that the language laws in this province are really strange, but this is a company that sells t-shirts with cute French slogans emblazoned on them, and incorporates all things "French twee" into its branding, but could not be bothered to put out a French website in time. Anyway, I digress! Wishlists!

I'm with you, Roxy, though I feel for the others who loved the thrill of a good popback or tracking down an item on super-sale through charge-sends. It made shopping at Anthro feel like a game (I wonder how much research has been done on that aspect of consumer behaviour?) Anyway, maybe it's because both of those features have been largely unavailable to Canadians (popbacks that come from stores in the US can't be shipped here, no cross-border charge-sends), and maybe it's because we in Quebec had to wait so long in 2012-2013 to get access to the website at all, but I'm not feeling too terribly frustrated. If I really, really want an older item at a low price, I hunt it down on eBay or here on the Trade Market -- sometimes a search can take months, but so would waiting for an elusive popback, really. I feel for those who spent a long time adding to their wishlists, only to find them reduced to a shell with no warning -- that really, really sucks. Seems like there wasn't a lot of inter-departmental communication between IT and customer service before the big change. At the very least, if enough customers make their displeasure known, the company won't make the same mistake again.
