"Waning influence"? Methinks the wane is feigned. Come November, the industry power players will rally around Obama like the conformist rent-seekers they are.
I'd like to see Justin Beiber do it.
Hmm, the Dems are investing in the newspaper industry? Maybe they would be interested in that buggy whip factory I've been trying to unload since 1904.
A golden toilet: what a perfect symbol for Public Sector Unions!
That's great, and I completely agree about the cable monopoly, but there isn't exactly an army of hi-speed ISPs out there either, and many of them are also your cable giants. Won't they just crank the monthly subscription for broadband to replace their lost profits?
Yeah, I think they cratered their musical career with that performance, by showing millions of viewers that their mediocre act simply didn't deserve to be on that stage. Haven't heard a tune of theirs getting airtime since. Obviously, I'm heartbroken about that.
I love the content on this site, and have been a frequent visitor since day one, but the editing of late has been a bit lacking. It might be a bandwidth issue for John, who is a frequent contributor to all the Big sites, as well as the editor of this one. Not to make to big a deal about it, but John, Andrew and the rest have established a great brand here, and I don't want to see it diminished for a correctable problem. Maybe it's time to hire one of those out-of-work English majors to do cleanup!
...and these are not the droids you're looking for.
So as long as I've been mocking her since "Like a Virgin", I get a pass? Done.
I think Andrew should hire that Office Linebacker guy for the conference. One second, he's an "assistant" holding a clipboard; the next, he's laying down some punishment on a pie-throwing hippie. The guys with guns then come in for cleanup.
