Hold on to your hats... the paper's reporting may be a bit off. The press release I remember reading from the convention committee many weeks ago, these were guidelines, not mandates.

As a credentialled attendee I am equal parts chagrined and delighted that I'll have a fighting chance of eating a healthy vegetarian diet during an intense week of convention-going. I may have something more than cheese pizza and french fries to choose from.

Finally, as anyone who has been on a tour of Graceland would know... a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich was one of Elvis' faves. They are indeed yummy, even toasted.
