I sent you boys the pictures, and I don't believe the public really understands the state of the cbd. Now, I agree without reservation that CD, Council & even USAR are making things a shitload harder than it needs to be BUT you and I know full well that if a building comes down with 2-3 people in it, the last thing that will be said will be: "Oh well,they knew the risks".

Response spectra shows ground acceleration in excess of 500APE design (normal Buildings), and spiking above 2500APE (essential buildings).

The short of it is that the shaking exceeded design consideration, and we're bloody lucky when all is said & done.

I have to respectfully disagree... BK & Maccas are equally shit. Had Wendys for the first time in two and a half years and they're shit too. Dammit, I'm gonna have to abstain from burgers until someone opens a Burger Fuel.
