sorry in TN we can only register to vote as Dems or Repubs. those are the only two choices that we have.

we must go forward. There is a lot of talk out here and i'm part of it. We need conscise action to move ahead. i've always found politics interesting, but have never thought all that much about it. I will hopefully be making a state senate run or mayor of Charlotte TN run in the near future. if anybody has ideas or advise please i'm all ears.

As far as the Tea Parties go, it's a movement, not spur of the moment. www.teapartynation.com This is where the movement is at. I keep seeing a whole lot of sites using Teaparty as a catch phrase. This movement needs to be centralized. together we are strong. together we will be heard. together we are united. let us not fail. Lord please let us not falter. Live strong. Live free. be radical....Love your country.

Do we need a new party? possibly. Can it be done by 2010. probably not.

I do support the idea of a new party. Democrats and Republicans are truly not that different from one another. i believe that it would take longer to fix one of the parties than it would be to start a new. But all of us would believe that it is time to clean the pool.

At first I was upset about the reports from the mainstream media regarding the Tea Parties. I attended one in Franklin TN, it looked to be about 2000 people there. My wife and I over heard one of the police officers state that there was close to 4000.

Let the mainstream media talk us down....or for that matter not talk about us at all. I'm not worried about it. Big things start small. And the loudest sound is a whisper in the dark. Let them believe that this is just a whisper. Let Pelosi keep thinking that we are the rich, the spoiled. She doesn't care. Let Obama keep thinking "Tea party....what Tea party?" He doesn't care. But they will. Eventually they'll care.

I believe that the adoption of "revolutionary" flags for this movement is very apropos. This is a revolution. Remember, the American revolution was started and won by 1/3 of the population. 1/3 fought for freedom. 1/3 (the moderates) watched. 1/3 was the tyrannical government lost. Let cnn and others keep thinking that this was just a small movement.
The Gadsden Flag was one of the first American flags and now it needs to be seen again as a symbol of our American Patriotism as it has been in the past. The Goliad Flag "I would rather cut off my right arm than live in tyranny." Again....Wow!

It used to be...."lets change the Constitution"....but that did not work really. You know let's just keep adding admendments to it, lets make all nice and flowery, oh, wait, that section doesn't represnt the gay community , This section doesn't represent the black community, Well maybe not everybody needs to have the ability to own guns. Is it ever going to stop? Yes, but it is us who have to stop it. You my friend are correct! There is nothing wrong with the Constitution as it sits in it's original form. And we need to get rid of the fools and jesters that keep trying to change it.

I could sit here and try to dazzle ya'll with stats of this or that, but that is not my style. If you've read my posts you know how I feel and what I believe. I watch the news. Listen to talk radio. Go to Church. I pray to God now more than I ever have. But for why?
In a world where people believe in the killing of the unborn, (innocent), but believe the death penalty is cruel and unusual. A world where all religions except Christianity are considered cool? HELLO?? We are being sold.
And that is the root of it. America is and has been for sale for a long time. Sony records own half of LA. Nashville TN and the country music it produces is owned by countries that don't know what country music is. China owns our debt. Mexico, Canada, and Hugo Chavez own our oil. And the entire world but America owns our President and Congress.
Is there anything left to pray for? Do we have anything to stand up for any longer? What has our Government done to our children? Why are our people turning their backs on God?
