Cain won and it wasn't close. Ron Paul was shaky, appearing very unnerved. Not presidential timber. Great guy for the Senate, though.

<DIV></DIV> <DIV>I don't agree about Obama..he is simply bad for our country. Too much wild spending, taking away too much of our freedoms, horrible economic policy thathas killed the economy. He is doing the exact opposite of what has proven to succeed. Reagan's economic legacy will not likely be duplicated in our lifetimes. While you are correct, the republicans did spend a lot of money on the war on terror, it pales in comparison to Obama'sgigantic waste of stimulus money plus Reagan never rammed a Big Government boondoggle down the throats of a resistant public. Reagan always got the public behind his programs as it was the only way to get the Dem majority to pass it. Reagan was far more transparent than Obama ever dreamed about. Honestly, I can't blame you for supporting your guy. If he were doing the right things I'd support him, too. IMO, his policies are a gigantic part of the reason why the economy has not and will not recover. He seems to stick to ideology when it is apparent to virtually anyone who is paying attention, that it isn't workingand won't work. I don't think Obama is a bad guy, I just think his policies are bad for the present and have done serious long term damage. I can see that you are passionate about your views. Even though I don't agree with most of them, I do think it is a good thing.

It was a win. The 1st half was an embarrassment to ND and their pretty boy DC. Western Massachusetts should not have been able to score on ND. Western Maryland did play their hearts out. Kudo's to Western Missouri.

No self respecting ND fan would ever root for the Skunkbears.

Ok, I got the thumbs down..big shock, but where are the answers to my questions. That is how libs operate. Criticize but no guts to answer legitimate questions. THAT is why so many will be thrown out of office shortly.

You are right, I am not in the upper 5% and will never get there under a socialist regime like the one in place now. While you so "brilliantly" point out how the GOP has messed up the economy, your miss the real truth of the problem.

The roots of the mortgage crisis are deep in Dem soil. The deepest root was given to us by Jimmy Carter and his Community Reinvestment Act. Bill Clinton picked up the ball and ran with it. Those fine, upstanding preachers Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, with assistance from Acorn then proceeded to shake banks down forcing them to relax their lending standards or be labeled as racists. The beginnings of the mortgage crisis were well underway before Bush was elected. I left the mortgage industry just before the 2000 election because I saw how corrupt it had become and wanted to stay a long distance from it. My problem with the GOP and Bush is that they failed to rein it in, although they did request that Barney Frank and Chris Dodd tighten up on the mortgage banking industry. Frank and Dodd both declined and as recently as 3 days before the meltdown stated that the banking industry was on solid footing. These clowns apparently are who you'd like to continue to keep watch over it...Brilliant.

True that Republicans did vote for it, but what you lie about is the corporate ties.. Democrats get far more campaign $$ from corporations than the GOP. Clinton was the president who signed it into law. I wonder why? You lefties always want to blame presidents for everything unless it is one of your own. Using your logic, the Dems have had control of both houses of congress for 4 years now. It is fair to blame them for all of our economic woes.
