I agree, portability would be awesome, I hate getting out of my bed and sliding the 2 feet into my computer chair (yeah, I'm that lazy some mornings). Though I would say that porting EVE to the major consoles (while possibly a technically challenging task) would otherwise be seamless. Graphically it would be a mirror, and other than the coding, the only other challenge, and one of the largest for putting EVE on any non-mouse-and-keyboard system is the control interface. Good read, regardless.

I love it. Though some sort of offline mode (maintaining ships, messing with their setups, etc) should be included for those of us with only an iPod touch. Other than that, if you do develop this, can I help Beta Test it?

Yeah, I plan to get into Command Ships eventually, but right now that is a ways out for me.

Agreed, but at the same time, I think that CCP could stand to revamp the Security Status system a bit. I would think that it wouldn't be terribly hard to create an system where it evaluates your activities each week, and you get a bonus to your sec status for each week of being a model citizen. Basically rewarding pilots for showing a commitment to changing. I should write a blog post about it :P

That is a load of crap, in my opinion at least. I think I was experiencing the same thing, so we will see how my petition goes.

Yeah, I was never aware that going into CONCORD space with a negative sec status would do that, and I will keep post when I get it resolved. If it turns out to not be a glitch or anything, then I suppose I will just have to simmer about it.
