Also, Mark, did you just remark on how cool the "bad language" section of the Manual would be and then apologise for swearing? :P
And tomatoes! <3
I fully agree with Mamvish on this one, garden-grown tomatoes are one of the biggest amazements in the world! This is why I always make sure there are tomatoes every time I plant any garden (and basil! pesto!!!!)

But yesterday was my birthday - and waking up to 3 videos of Mark reading A Wizard of Mars felt like the best birthday present ever! <3
So thank you, Mark for doing what you do and bringing us joy!

Otoh, I think his goal was not just to spare Kit embarrassment in the moment, but to help his existing friendships with kids who are struggling a lot more be less stressful in the long term. Now Kit can pass it off as a sucky grade if Jealousy rears it's ugly head.
But that could also be avoided by doing a decent job of hiding the test grades??? And a friendship that is under constant threat by jealousy like that could use a deeper solution than hiding stuff???
So yeah, to me the strategy seems... sub-optimal?
Edit: And if he's just trying to protect Kit from Jealousy, then the whole wind-up is entirely unnecessary. The first thing after the other kids are out of the room could have been "good job" or "you did fine". There is a little more going on there. :/
