Me. I do. I have so many religion issues. I have known so many awful religious people I move a lot and have ignored some promising potential friends when i found out they had become religious as adults. I just assume they are NOT MY PEOPLE. Though i have lifelong friends who grew up in religious households and i do not care that they mostly believe. I dunno, I think it's because I believe they are brainwashed at an early age when they couldn't do anything about it I guess. So judgmental.

Nicole is cool though. if she can be cool and religious I will try harder to be more open minded.

Ahh, see my Irish/UK family and friends seem to have better success (in the short term at least, they don't seem to have any desire for the long-term breast feeding thing there). Which I credit to 6-12 months maternity leave primarily, but also free health visitor/midwife visits in the first weeks at home.

I also think they have a healthier/more reasonable attitude when it doesn't work out in terms of moving on with less guilt/shame. Here in the US with the back to work so quickly thing and the zero support after birth it is really challenging for a lot of people. I know the rates overall are lower, but i think fewer people are beating themselves up over it over there too.

right. I know that. Bad choice of words.

I feel like he wasn't a gleeful scammer though, just a guy who had to do a shitty job. I think I may be OVER-empathizing with this scammer.

Surreal telemarketer call.
'Hello, my name's David and i'm calling you from the technical department at windows about updates to your computer."
(Wearily.) 'No. No, you're not'
(Even more wearily.) "Ok, well fuck you then."

But guys, there was like such profound weary sadness and frustration in his voice. I kind of feel sorry for him.

"He/she looks so peaceful." No shit.

Yes, the hair/makeup is always a little bit wrong and the waxy sheen of the face makes the corpse look more like a Madame Tussaud's version of themselves, which somehow stops it from being so horrifying to me.

"Pro Q-tip use, won't read article, living life on the edge!"

Hell yeah. from my cold dead hands. And my ear canals will be spotless.

I find it really nice too. Weirdly have many happy memories of spending time with my Granny at wakes of random (to me), and not so random people.
