The superintendent is soooo full of you know what!!! He has told the existing teachers basically if you aren't Catholic and you are an older teacher you will not be hired back. You can apply, but you won't be hired back. The teachers were given packets on how to file unemployment and how to file for retirement. That sounds like a class action law suite if you ask me.
I agree. Mr. Mills got a rather large parting gift from the corporation. I think he should have to give up the pay he was given for his "unused" vacation time.
I think this should be run into the ground until it can't run anymore. It is time for the "little people" to stand up to the fat cats!!! The cats deserve to be put down a peg or two.
Maybe the board should look at giving the position to a current ten year teacher or a teacher ready to retire that would be qualified. That way there is at least one more job opening for the teachers that our school board has RIFT'ed. Think about that one Mr. Stillson and the rest of the board!!! Oh yeah! It's nice to know that you just want to sweep this under the rug. Mr. Mills is getting paid over $34k in vacation pay. GOOD GOD!!! That is a first, second or third year teacher's salary!!! WAIT TO GO MR. STILLSON AND THE REST OF THE BOARD!!! IT'S NICE TO SEE YOU ALL CARE FOR OUR TEACHERS AND OUR CHILDREN!!! THE FAT CATS GET FATTER AND THE MIDDLE CLASS FALL FARTHER DOWN!!!
Wow! 61% salary increase over 10 years?!? I wish all teachers received that kind of raise increases. Come on people, Joann Shaw is a teacher that has had special training in her "Good as Gold" Reading Recovery program. Actually, you can't even call her a teacher anymore, because she has no idea what it is like to be a teacher in this day and age. I hope things look good from your throne queeny. The king has already been dethroned and I bet you are next! I mean good grief!!! Our kids should be reading at the level of a Harvard grad with all of the money that is pumped into that program of hers!!!!
