It seems the above comments, weeding out the racist ones, say he is out on $50,000 bond? It seems this blog had dredged up some bad memories of abuse among the women here. I think it is a fact that 65% of women killed in the US are killed when trying to leave an abusive relationship. As some have commented.....it is a cycle....of abuse, apology, excuses, onto escalating violence. It never ends, unless the man gets educated, jailed or killed. I don't know why abuse to women is so epidemic. Many of us have endured this cycle of violence, with no answers as to the real WHY of it all. It would be nice if some of the wasted stimulous money was spent to research and find some solution and educate males to stop the almost "accepted" abusive behavior of how men treat women in our society.
My take on it is that they are very shy people, finding it hard to talk with cameras stuck in their faces. I could not imagine being 17 years old and having something like this happen. There is so much speculation about everything. She seems to me to be a young girl mainly in shock about what has happened. I hope I am right.
K, thanks, Mary. I've read here for a long time, only made one comment before tonight. I do like these blogs. Lots of nice people here. Have a great day!
LMAO!! Seems to work fine now! As Gilda Radner used to say.....never mind! Ha ha!
Maybe I'm just a dummy! Ha ha! Making a reply to you to see if it will work. Thanks, Mary.
Glitches? I find that I can read comments for a few minutes, then I get an IE "hang". I do the "end nonresponsive program", empty my cache, start IE again, then I can again read comments. A heads up to programmers, there is something wrong if I can't read the comments here without it messing up like that, every time. I am signing up for IntenseDebate to see if that will rectify the problem.
HA!....OK, now you got me MAD! When I clicked "submit comment" it sent me an email....welcome...bla bla.....then after I typed a password I got IntenseDebate "hang", then "do you want to permanently empty the spam folder?", then " Dr. Watson Postmortem Debugger needs to close", then "IE needs to close". What is going on here? I emptied my cache again to be able to comment. Seems there are search hooks or something major wrong here? I've never had problems like this anywhere before! PLEASE FIX IT! Thanks.
