Is owning a Pit Bull a status symbol for certain people? Kinda like driving a Benz or wearing a fake diamond earring? Guys like this gotta have their Pit Bulls even if they can't take care of them. What an idiot! I hope HE gets locked up with no food or water and inadequate space!

Hmmm...must be a lot more to this story. If this was a bona fide home invasion or robbery attempt, I doubt the police would charge anyone for defending themselves or their home even if he only succeeded in blowing shotgun holes all over his bedroom. The cops must have suspected something or perhaps his version of events lacked credibility?

What is wrong with people??? I see way too many stories about cruelty to animals lately...harsher penalties are needed for those who harm animals for fun. They will eventually move on to harming people if they're not already.
