1. Term limits. If someone is failing, they should be kicked out. America needs to wake up and see what our politicians are doing.

2. Secure Borders. Less illegals = more jobs. Illegals are stealing we the people's well earned money. The government is taking our money and spending it on their problems. They don't contribute, they don't belong. If I have to work for myself and work to be legal in this country, so should they.

3. Lower taxes. Give money to the people. More money = more spending. People pay off credit cards, debts, the banks are saved.

4. Tighten up people standards. People today want the government to do everything for them: get them a house, a car, and anything really that the government can't afford and that the people can't afford. Freedom isn't free. The American dream for someone to be able to live a good, unrestrained life. But that doesn't mean one doesn't have to work for that. The American dream is possible because in America, people are given the tools and opportunity to do achieve so.

5. Drill for oil in our homelands. America is powerful because it has the supply, and it has the demand. Anyone can rule anything if they have the power to buy and sell. I understand your last sentence, but i gotta tell you: as read through everything news_across has been arguing about, you might notice that he gives no direct answer and sometimes non at all, tries to complicate and divert things, and he is the person throwing insults around. news_across is the trouble maker......

BTW: you don't sound smart or right by stating some definition. And the insults are obnoxious!-loose 'em!

Patriotism doesn't equal treason.
Patriotism: ones love and/or devotion to one's country. being a patriot means speaking out for what's right, pointing out what wrong, and how to fix it. Just like a parent would reward his/her child for doing good, point out mistakes, and showing how it can be fixed. Glenn Beck is a patriot because he speaks out for what's best for our country. He doesn't accept wrong doing, and points out how we can learn from our mistakes. Glenn Beck loves our country.
Treason: crime that covers some of the more serious acts of disloyalty to one's sovereign or nation. Patriotism isn't treason because no one committing treason would be a patriot. I'll tell you what's treason. Those cheats in congress, cabinet, and senate are committing treason because they are cheating the law and the people they serve, WE THE PEOPLE.

It doesn't matter what you call it, it's still an armed revolt. Everyone knows that America split from Britain. They used GUNS, people were armed. Your arguing what the definition of a revolution is! PATHETIC! Next time, you should actually come back with some facts of your own and state something!

I did some research

When Pres Jimmy Carter was elected, and in his time in office, the economy fell. Then, Pres Ronald Reagan was elected, the economy struggled, but still became strong again. Then, Pres Clinton was elected, the economy fell again. Then, Pres Bush was elected, the economy rose again.

In '07 and '08, the economy was as strong as ever. Then, while Pres Bush was in office, the economy fell agian. Now, Pres Obama is trying to handle the economic crisis. Now, the economy is as low as the mid to late 1990s, when Pres Clinton was in office. But how will Pres Obama fix the economic crisis? By doing what created the economic crisis's: stimulus packages, bailouts, and high tax rates. What does the "stimulus" (porkulus) package do? Puts our country in even more debt and steals money from the people. What do the bailouts do? Puts our country in debt and steals money from the people. What do high tax rates do? Steals money from the people.

Go figure, I believe Obama is only going to make the situation worse.

I respect your thought and kind of agree. Yes it was intended to be a secular government because it was that anyone could and can come regardless of their race, religion, and where they came from. They made it so that any religion could be practiced here. And that church was separated from state. It was and is a FREE country. And i agree that now that libs are in control they are infringing many rights.

But I believe that this country was founded on Christianity. As you can see above, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson clearly stated their Christian beliefs in principle 2. Also "One nation under God", and other stuff like that. But also that they and many, many people around them were Christians and based their lives around God. They all built the U.S. under God and intended to do so.

I agree that it was also founded on the principles of individual liberty because that is the american dream. That any and every person has the right and is given the tools and chances to live a good, free life.

It's good to know that there are good people who want our country back. That's why Glenn Beck is so great because he believes in it, he wants it, and does something about it. This website gives people alot of power...i love it already!

Hate (or love) to break it to you news_across, but TDCobra is right. All third-world countries do are dictate and try to make "peace" or "allies" with the enemy. Democrats have been pushing to kick our soldiers out of war and make "peace". And all you left-wing democrats seem to do boss each other and everyone else around. You guys want big government, small people, and a whole lot of rights that give you guys the right to do that. All I see in the Democratic agenda is the word CONTROL.

BTW: Bush did a good a good job when he was in office. I didn't, and still don't agree with some of the things he did and approved, but he did a descent job as president. After 9/11/01, he kept this country safe, and remember when the economy was really good? A lot of people were happy and the U.S. was really nice and really peaceful. The only people (generally speaking) who were complaining were the ones who didn't get what they wanted.

Why does Obama have to reverse 8 years of neoconservative? Yeah, it is and wasn't all good, but as I just stated, the U.S. was a pretty happy place.

Just want to add that they need to start working for their position. All those people do are sit there, sign things, and follow the crowd. They are like sheep in a big indestructible dome. There needs to be no dome to protect them and a wolf to make them think about what they're doing!

My opinion is that a majority of the people pulling President Obama's strings are the people he took money from under the table, and made promises to so that he could get into to office! This guy is a cheat, a scam to this country!!!!!!! Take a look at the people he's appointed, cheat's like Tim Geithner and almost everyone from the Clinton years! Those are the people pulling his strings. He is a Puppet because everyone around him is simply telling him what to do, what to sign, and what'll keep the country "happy". He also has NO experience in office. He was only a SENATOR for 2 YEARS. The guy hasn't done crap! And didn't do anything in Illinois. And he has no idea what he's doing as president.
