Would have preferred that the police shot her with a Taser instead. Now she will never be a taxpaying citizen again, further adding to the national deficit.
I certainly hope they are caught and get strung up. It's not what might happen to them in prison, it's what will happen to them after they get out and they become fair game, slow moving targets.
Hearing something like that I would simply ignore because it is obviously a hoax. Ignoring it is also better than giving it so much attention and publicity like it has gotten.
Seems like they have no trouble funding unending wars and covert actions against other nations, but it's a big deal to extend unemployment benefits to people who can't find a job. You are truly living in the wrong country at the wrong time in history. If people knew the benefits they could be receiving living in the European Union, there would be a riot in Washington, DC tomorrow.
Never said I was a communist. I favor a more European type of government such as in Switzerland or Sweden, which most right-wing Americans would call "socialist." They take care of their citizens better than in North America, and certainly don't pour trillions into stupid wars. The United States is still, no matter who is in power, a right-wing nation and that will be its downfall. Can't consider any other approach than right-wing politics even if it leads to national bankruptcy. So be it. By the way, the US has supported numerous dictatorships that were not at all communist.
Change is fine....so why can't the capitalist system be changed too? Karl Marx predicted these cycles and said that capitalism would eventually destroy itself. Every recession since the 1970s has been more severe than the one before it. That means a depression is not far away. Anyone who thinks a depression is impossible is living a pipedream that will be shattered. Remember that the political parties are serving corporate interests, not the consumer or the middle class. In the long run there will be an elite class and an underclass, with nothing in the middle.
Fact is that automotive, steel and iron industries have been in decline since the Reagan years. Doesn't matter who is in office. Both political parties are controlled by Corporate America and Wall Street. These parties are actually two sides of the same corrupt coin and serve corporate interests, not the consumer or the middle class. If you want change, keep Democrats and Republicans out of the White House and out of Congress. Good luck!
