* Neither has responsed definitively so technically they're "undecided. But it's a safe bet they'll follow the administration whatever the issue or proposal. Maryland is 45 out of the 50 states in taxing the life out of it's economy and recklessly squandering the money on programs, projects, and schemes that have failed consistently over decades to demonstrably improve anybody's condition save the safety of Democrat politician's "seats".

Folks working for minimum wage have no business even thinking about buying a home or raising a family. Minimum wage is for jobs that take maybe 15 minutes to learn - like working an auto assembly line.
Here's the rules:
1 Go study and practice till you have a skill to sell. Your employer will gladly pay you what you're worth and what you're being paid is what you're worth to your employer.

2. If you can make more somewhere else, go there.

3. If you can't make more somewhere else, see rule 1

I don't understand who votes for these buffoons and miscreants much less why. Surely, nobody who's ever actually had a thought believes this administration or this congress has any good intentions for the country.

45 years ago I moved from Maine to Maryland. Maine seemed a better place then. In 1969 a University of Maine classmate wrote from San Fransisco: " The place is beautiful but the people rot". I believe that of the Bay Area but the people of Maine and even Masschussetts that I meet back home every summer are still good and thoughtful folks. I doubt the promise of a little weed and occasional free lunch have bought that many souls. Even ACORN adding a few hundred thousand phantom voters doesn't explain it. But, the absence of even a pretense of education in our schools could explain a lot, especially combined with the massive fraud wherever ACORN exists and the slavery of the nanny state.

All it takes for evil to prevail is that good men do nothing: That's the story of the last few decades.

I expect Barry to repudiate this like the veteran's insurance thing or confiscation of 401s. This came out to see the reaction. It might be a nice flourish for him to fire some flunky for "leaking" the notion but slipping him or her the than-you-for-your-service bonus could be risky just now.
What mental defect allows these ideas to spawn? The characteristic liberal arrogance, ignorance, indolence, duplicity, irresponsiblity, and pervasive self loathing are necessary but not sufficient.
There is an old story about a man who shot his neighbor's new mule because it was wrong for the neighbor to have something he didn't. That's the defect and today we call it "liberal".

If Reverend Wright, Tom Daschle, and Obama's own grandmother are a perspective, Geithner might want to update his resume. But, we need to hear from Nancy before we can really predict O's next move. Isn't it amazing that in only two months Obama has us reevaluating the Carter years?
